Fat Princess is a multiplayer game for up to 32 players, with the basic goal of rescuing the Princess and bringing her back to the team's base, a twist on capture the flag.[6] The players pick up and carry cakes to feed the Princess, which makes her heavier and harder for the enemy to carry back to their own castle. The game contains six character classes (Villager, Worker, Priest, Ranger, Mage and Warrior) and three downloadable classes (Pirate, Ninja and Giant), each of which contributes to the team's task of capturing the princess in a unique way.
In Fat Princess, players play as team members. There are two teams, red and blue, with up to 16 members each (32 players in total). To make their opponents' task more difficult, players can feed the captive princess cake slices. With each slice, she becomes heavier and harder to carry back to her respective castle. Over time, the effect of the cake wears off.[7]
In Fat Princess, up to 32 players compete in rescuing their princess from the enemy castle. A red and a blue team each have their own base and must ensure, capture-the-flag-style, that their prisoner stays in the dungeon while they must somehow get their own princess back onto her rightful throne.
There are five classes in the game: mage, archer, warrior, worker and priest. Players can change to any class by picking up their corresponding hat. The maps contain several structures that should be built by the workers to give ones own team an advantage - these require harvesting resources first though. An additional important feature is feeding the princess cake to make her heavier. This makes it more difficult for the other team to carry her away.
The game contains other modes besides the rescue-the-princess-mode: there's a single player story mode, team deathmatch and a checkpoint-control-mode. An additional feature is the arena, where the player can fight using each class gladiator-style to survive as many levels as possible.
The goal of each level is to guide the titular princess to the throne at the end of the stage, and she can join in on the action if you feed her enough cake. Her body flops are extremely powerful, so you'll need to make sure that you keep her sweet with sugary treats, while also ensuring that your villagers are performing a steady string of attacks, too. This is where cascade combos come in, with matches of four or more resulting in the creation of super gems, which help clear out the grid.
Fat Princess is effectively a combination of a third-person, cel-shaded, cartoony action game, castle defense, and capture the flag. The game divides 32 players into two teams, each of which has a princess hidden within its headquarters' walls. The goal of the game is to capture the other team's princess, and in true capture-the-flag form, winning requires a combination of defense and offense.
Where Fat Princess gets interesting is in the way that castle defense is slightly different from the norm. First of all, players can gather cake on the play field and feed it to their own princess. This makes the princess harder to carry and makes defense easier. More traditionally, though, players can collect resources on the map to build towers and fortify captured points in true castle defense fashion. 59ce067264
